Oma
My grandmother died of pneumonia.
In nineteen fifty three
I was seven
I hardly remember her.
So long ago
yet
I still feel her love.
This made me think of my grandma. I hope to do a skype with her this weekend and hopefully see her in person next year. Grannies are special in life.
I was born in 1953, not aware of what happened around. As you write “I still feel her love … that’s beautiful.
1953 is also the year my family immigrated to America – Thank you for your comments

The poem says it all - I do want to thank my muse who presented this to me complete.
